FOR COMPANIES THAT CAN’T AFFORD THINGS TO BREAK

We build websites that move your business forward

We build websites for companies with the highest expectations of performance, stability and quality. Strategic design meets fast, well-engineered development: from the first idea through technical delivery to ongoing development. WordPress, Astro or fully custom, we pick the technology that fits your goals best.

YOUR BENEFITS

What your website needs to achieve

01 — Brand & Target Group

Convincing,
not just presenting

A modern website is part of your digital infrastructure. It has to connect systems and tools seamlessly, handle complex content and processes, and stay fast and secure while doing it. At the same time it has to make your positioning clear and guide people to the right content and the right next step. We build websites that work technically and convince commercially.

02 — TECHNOLOGY & Performance

Built to perform,
not just to work

We build on a lean technical foundation and mature open source software. Static site generators keep load times short and performance high. The result: a site that stays fast and stable even with a lot of content and heavy traffic.

03 — Security

Staying secure,
not taking chances

For technology and infrastructure companies in particular, security isn’t an add-on. It’s a precondition. We avoid unnecessary dependencies and rely on mature software and clear technical structures. And we stay with you after launch: regular updates, maintenance and dependable operation.

PERFORMANCE AS THE FOUNDATION

Our Tech Stack

Which stack fits you best is something we decide together, based on budget, team and objectives.

ASTRO BUILDER

Astro is our choice for websites where performance is key. As a static site generator, Astro builds pages in advance and serves them as finished files, rather than generating them on every request. JavaScript loads only where it’s actually needed. The result is short load times even as content and traffic grow, which makes Astro particularly interesting for sites that need to scale, and where speed and stability are decisive.

WORDPRESS CMS

WordPress is a flexible content management system that’s especially easy to maintain yourself. Over many years we’ve tested themes and plugins and arrived at a setup that has proven itself for robustness and security. That means teams without deep technical expertise can look after their site with confidence. And as requirements grow, WordPress can continue to serve as a headless CMS for large content platforms.

NIX OS

Nix/NixOS makes our deployments reproducible and ensures that development and production are configured identically. That reduces deployment errors and makes changes easier to control. Even complex setups can be run and scaled consistently.

PROCESS

Step by step to your new website

01 — Concept & Target group focus

We plan, before we build

Whether it’s a relaunch or your first website: we start with a joint kick-off, to understand exactly what you want to achieve, who you’re talking to, what sets you apart and what the site has to do. From there we develop the content structure for your site and choose the tech stack that fits your requirements best.

02 — Design, Content & Layout

The structure takes shape

With the page structure in place, we design the visual build of your website. We create custom layouts, UI elements and components, define the visual language and shape the content so that design, brand and user journey all pull in the same direction.

03 — Web Development

From idea to a site that's actually live

Now concept and design become a working website. Our team builds the site on the architecture we agreed together: lean, fast and optimised for speed, security and long-term maintenance.

04 — Launch & Testing

As soon as you're happy the site goes live

Before launch, we test your website thoroughly: technically, editorially and on every device that matters. And once you’re live, we’re still there, supporting you with hosting, maintenance and the ongoing development of your site, whenever you want us to.

“OLYMP CONSULTING supported our marketing through the whole of last year — new website, LinkedIn, newsletters, trade fair presence, company event, design work: the works.

With real commitment, creativity and a sure feel for our audience, the team took the way we present ourselves to a new level. We couldn’t be happier — and we recommend them wholeheartedly.”

FAQs

How long does it take to develop a website?

That depends very much on the scope of the website and the input provided by the client. Smaller website projects can be completed within 2–3 months, whilst more complex projects can take as long as 6–12 months.

The cost of a website depends heavily on its scope, requirements and the appropriate technical infrastructure. A streamlined corporate website with just a few subpages and a standard setup typically starts at around €5,000. More extensive projects with bespoke requirements, complex information architecture or features such as booking systems, interfaces or login areas will cost in the lower to mid five-figure range.

The key factor here is not just the number of pages, but above all the requirements your website needs to meet in the long term, from performance and security to scalability and further development.

On request, we can provide your team with comprehensive training on how to manage the website’s content and sections independently. This allows you to remain flexible and make minor adjustments yourselves.

Good preparation saves time and ensures the project runs smoothly. Define in advance what your objectives are for the relaunch and whether there will be any changes to services, target audiences or positioning. You should also set a realistic budget, appoint an internal project lead and allow for sufficient time. This ensures the project does not get sidelined by day-to-day operations and can be implemented efficiently.
